European High level Conference on Education in the Digital Era

December 11, 2014
This conference was organized by the European Commission and by the Italian Presidency of the EU. For EUNEC, participation was very relevant, given the networks' recent seminar and statements on 'Learning in the digital age' (Athens, May 2014). Three high-level panels focused on three major themes: - Increasing the quality and relevance of learning (impulse statement by Bruce Dixon, president of the Anytime Anywhere Learning Foundation) - Increasing the impact of educators (impulse statement by Pasi Sahlberg, visiting professor of Practice at Harvard University's Graduate School of Education) - Addressing inequalities through better access and lower cost (Impulse statement by Carolina Jeux, CEO of Telefonica Learning Services)
