The Education and Training Monitor is an annual publication that captures the evolution of education and training in the EU. It contributes to the objectives of the EU strategic framework for cooperation in education and training, the overall Commission's strategy Europe 2020 and the European Semester.
The Education and Training Monitor relies on a broad range of quantitative and qualitative sources, including Eurostat data, OECD studies and surveys, analysis of education systems undertaken by the Eurydice network, quantitative analysis of survey datasets, and academic networks.
The Education and Training Monitor is split into two volumes. The first provides an overview of the state of education and training across Europe and the second is a series of twenty-eight individual country reports, one for each EU member state.
